Music in Day Programs and Long Term Care
Live music with a special interest in interactive music sessions for those living with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia.   Singing and rhythm really help!  Family members are encouraged to participate!
Music in Hospice and Hospital
Soothing music played at the bedside to promote peace and relaxation.
Fun music with kids (can include songwriting and recording)!

The power of music is understood universally to have a number of therapeutic effects. Music at the bedside is very effective in comforting those in hospital or in the late stages of terminal illness.  My greatest compliment is when a patient relaxes and falls asleep to the music I provide. (Sometimes the caregivers fall asleep too!)

Kids also love to have musical visits!  Recreational music making in the hospital provides a fun distraction for children.   Parents love to see their children singing to a song, or using their imaginations to make up their own words to a song.

                                     Music brings joy .....................and peace!
